ReplyDeleteMy sister said similar about the curve thing, and I totally see were you guys are coming from the curves version has a lot less detail than the original colored version. Sooo yeah I’d have to agree with you on that one.
Really cute drawing Jade! I like how the pencil drawing reflects the innocence this style. The shading of the colour one is fab and adds loads, but for me the film noire shadow adds drama, but is not needed with such a lovely simple style? Agree the curves version is not as nice as a web jpeg, but I bet this is because the photoshop file looked lovely with curves but the nasty jpeg format darkened/added to much contrast?
