  1. Very cool! So, I have a question: the clothing on the people you draw: is it impromptu, or do you really think through, "OK, one belt, baggy pants, two necklaces..." or like, whatever comes to mind? Because I love it! Seriously, I would so buy most of the clothing (guys clothing, lol) on the characters you draw. Seriously!
Well, again, very cool. Can't wait to see more!

  2. I'm really glad you like it! :) And to answer you question, the majority of my peoples clothes are completely impromptu! I just start by drawing the head and once I'm done, I look at what I've drawn and I add clothes that seem to suite the character! And it just evolves from there, I add belts, buttons, ribbons or necklaces when I see there needed! Though, there are some occasions that I start with a vague idea for an outfit, (it's rare. :) and in most of those situations the idea changes as I go along anyway! lol
Anyway, I hope that made sense...I've had an off week... :)

  3. Yes, that does make a lot of sense! Thanks! That is very cool.
Oh, I'm sorry you didn't have a great week. What happened? (You don't have to say if you don't want.) I'll pray that the week gets better for you. I know that off-weeks can be very discouraging. But don't worry, the weekend is coming up! *cheers and runs around the house, telling everyone the weekend is almost here*. lol, yeah, not really...

  4. Man, I feel really bad I didn’t comment on this...! Sorry...

Anyway, the last month has been really...tiring. First off I’ve been sick...and I can't seem to get better. I think I’ve had this same cold for maybe two months or so. Which, of course isn’t fun. And on top of that my family has been pretty busy, running here and there for things like bible study and upward basketball and 4-H! It just seems like I’m tired ALL THE TIME! Then there’s school which makes me feel like an idiot. (Math in particular.) Especially when I can‘t do something that, I think, I should be able to do! I hate that...I just hate feeling so dumb. *sigh* Oh well, enough of my pity party! Life can get hard, but (as you said) there’s always the weekend! :)

  5. I'm sorry everything is hectic for you... I want to say something like, "Don't worry, there's a light at the end of the tunnel!" but it sounds cheesy... and besides, it might be a train... lol, I'm definitely just kidding. I'm sure things will get much better and hopefully less hectic. And I hope your cold goes away! Those are the worst... I had one of those a month ago and it took forever for me to feel better. But, it went away, and I feel back to normal. I'll be praying that everything starts going better and that your cold goes away.
Ugh, I know exactly what you mean! Except, I'm really dumb when it comes to Critical Reading... this might help (but it might not): is Math something God gifted you with? I can say Critical Reading isn't something I'm gifted with... but, it isn't supposed to be. God wired me to be good with music and math, and Critical Reading is not. Knowing that, all I can do is try my best, and if I try my best, that's all anyone can ask for. If my scores are low, then whatever. I tried my best, and that's that. So don't feel disappointed or frustrated if you get a bad grade in Math, or you don't get a concept. If you try your best, that's all anyone can ask for. I know that might not help, but it was worth a shot... lol.
Well, the weekend is coming up again. Hopefully, your week is better and your weekend will be awesome.
Oh, btw, I did think of something else: I WON'T be known for my critical reading skills in 3 years, but I will be because of my music. Same follows for you: who cares about how good you are in math 3 years from now! lol. Your drawings are going to stun everyone so much, that they could care less about Math... lol.
I hope that helps! (Wow, that was long!)

  6. lol Thanks, it really did help! It brings to mind the line from Veggie Tales, you know “God made you special, and he loves you very much!” and though it’s pretty lame it’s totally true! God did give us all different gifts that set us apart, and I believe that’s one of the things that makes the world so interesting! (Though I still wish I was better at math! :)
